Charlotte est une alcoolique tentant de compléter sa première année de sobriété. Un soir où l’envie de boire est si forte qu’elle craint une rechute, Charlotte se rend chez sa chaperonne, Jeanne, une alcoolique sobre depuis plus de cinq ans. Toutefois, en arrivant chez Jeanne, Charlotte trouve sa chaperonne en état d’ébriété. Les rôles d’aidée et d’aidante étant maintenant inversés, Charlotte décide d’intervenir auprès de sa chaperonne.

Charlotte is an alcoholic trying to complete her first year of sobriety. One evening, when the urge to drink is so strong that she fears a relapse, Charlotte goes to see her sponsor, Jeanne, an alcoholic who has been sober for over five years. However, when Charlotte arrives at Jeanne’s, she finds her sponsor in a state of drunkenness. With the roles of helper and cared-for now reversed, Charlotte decides to step in.
