Gabrielle, une enfant imaginative, mais peureuse, passe l’été au chalet avec sa famille. Alors que son frère et ses sœurs profitent des dernières baignades de l’été, la benjamine se cloître à l’intérieur, accompagnée de son chien et de ses nombreux jouets, trop craintive du soleil et des orages. Malgré elle, Gabrielle se retrouvera exposée aux intempéries. Sous le regard bienveillant de sa famille, la jeune enfant trouvera graduellement le courage d’affronter ses peurs.

Gabrielle, an imaginative but cautious child, spends the summer at the cottage with her family. While her brother and sisters enjoy the last swims of the summer, the youngest stays indoors with her dog and many toys, too afraid of the sun and thunderstorms. In spite of herself, Gabrielle finds herself exposed to the elements. Under the caring eye of her family, the young child gradually finds the courage to face her fears.
